As an experienced connoisseur of the Upper Franconian beer landscape, we set out to explore unknown terrain this Friday. The first goal was the Rosenauer Hofbrauerei in Marktgraiz. Steffen Schmölzing brews two excellent traditional beers, a brown beer and a "light Engerla". The fine dry, pleasant, slightly hoppy flavor, paired with the well-known full-bodied character is a refreshing thirst quencher of a special kind. You can only recommend both beers. Drive there and take a look at the Hofbrauerei. But watch out for the opening times to avoid unnecessary disappointments.
