Bow Peak rises north of Lake Louise, offering one of Banff’s lesser-known summit hikes with exceptional views over the Bow River Valley and surrounding peaks. The route follows forested slopes before climbing into open alpine terrain, with a steep final push across loose rock to the summit ridge.
It’s a challenging but rewarding ascent for experienced hikers, featuring panoramic views of Crowfoot Glacier, Bow Lake, and the Icefields Parkway below.
