The Pera Pigadi beach
(Πέρα Πηγάδι) in the southeast is an approximately 60-meter-long, natural pebble beach with crystal-clear water, popular mainly among sailors as a quiet anchorage.
Access is somewhat challenging due to its remote location:
- By boat
- On foot (hike): An adventurous path leads down from the road to Marathias, past the famous Homeric spring Arethousa Krini, to the beach. The descent takes about 40 minutes. The ascent takes a little longer.
