Hiking
Down in the village is a small shrine dedicated to Saint Reparata, one of the early Christian martyrs. She was executed in Casares around 250 AD and whose remains are kept in the Florence Cathedral. Besides Florence, Saint Reparata is also venerated in Naples and Nice, and in Germany in Speyer and Worms. Unfortunately, she possesses no special attributes, merely holding the martyr's palm.
