    The rest area is on the way from Veste Heldburg to Bad Rodach. There you first reach the Georgenberg with a lookout tower and an inn with a view of Rodach. The rest hut is located directly on the green belt, the former border strip. This is exactly where you cross the state border to Bavaria. The hiking trail is also a popular trail. This route is highly recommended for those who don't want to follow the main road by bike.
