Historic Weissenburg Spa Grounds

Nice area with barbecue area and a large lawn to relax. The whole is on the area of the former thermal baths of Weissenburg.

The area of the former Weissenburgbad is very well maintained and impressive. Even those who are not otherwise interested in history: Here you can vividly imagine how the fine ladies and gentlemen strolled, swam and relaxed almost 100 years ago. In addition to a picnic area (decorated with flowers and lanterns) and a box with children's toys, there is a lot to discover for young and old. Small power station, fountain, pavilion, thermal well, etc. An ideal place for a family picnic.
With smaller children I would walk here from Weissenburg train station, the path is wide and unproblematic. I wouldn't go any further towards the suspension bridge with smaller children, because the path then becomes narrower and it goes down steeply in places alongside the path.
