The Brantentalschlucht is designated as a natural monument. The trail from Deutschnofen leads steeply down to Laives on a sandy / gravel road, which is not so well suited for a normal bike - especially not uphill, because it is really steep. But it is a very nice hiking trail and a challenging MTB route. At the beginning and at the end the track is paved.
