The church dates back to the 8th century. During excavations two predecessors were found, the older from the fifth century The church was provided with rich frescoes from the Gothic to the Renaissance.
So the bust of the Apostle Paul. The Annunciation of Mary. And Christ in the Mandorla. A baroque Marian altar. Also the figures of Paul and Peter.
