The legendary Hardtkapelle belongs to the municipality of Haunshofen and is located deep in the forest, the so-called "Hardt". The building, often referred to today as the "haunted chapel", was built in 1865 as a pilgrimage church with its own Way of the Cross - according to tradition, however, a chapel was already built around 1250 on said land.
