A detour to the center of Grafenwörth leads past several historic and characteristic buildings. Particularly striking are the parish church of St. Andrew with its Josephinian hall church and Neoclassical altars, and the elementary school, a two-story Secessionist building from 1907. Well-maintained residential buildings, small shops, and municipal buildings also characterize the center. Many of the buildings display traditional Lower Austrian architectural elements, such as symmetrical facades, decorative window frames, and flat roofs, thus conveying an impression of the town's architecture and history. These buildings can be easily explored by bicycle, allowing visitors to enjoy the harmonious townscape.
