It is worth hiking here at any time of the year. During the heather bloom, some people are out and about, but it is not as crowded as in the Lüneburg Heath.

Sometimes up, sometimes down, sometimes wide, sometimes narrow, the paths here are varied and the nature here is beautiful to look at. When the weather is nice there is a little more going on but it goes very well so you don't have that feeling. that it is overcrowded.
