The Notre-Dame de Bayeux Cathedral is the seat of the Bishop of Bayeux-Lisieux and one of the most important sacral monuments of Normandy. The cultural monument was classified in 1862 as Monument historique. Originally built in the Norman-early Romanesque style, the cathedral is today largely Gothic.
