Preikestolen or Prekestolen (Norwegian for pulpit or literally "preaching chair") is a natural rock platform (rock pulpit) in Ryfylke, in the Norwegian county of Rogaland, and a tourist attraction with sweeping views over the Lysefjord and the surrounding mountains. The rock plateau measures approximately 25 by 25 meters. The cliff edge drops 604 meters vertically into the almost 40-kilometer-long fjord.
