Also called “New 30” in these parts. Just a regular highway laid between Grand Jct and Jefferson, which I used to connect to the Jefferson Depot (along the Raccoon River Valley Trail or RRVT).

30 is decent for cyclists, the shoulders are mostly wide and there’s a few twists and turns to help pass the time. Stop at the bridge east of Jefferson for a quick snack or power through and enjoy all the town offers!
