These houses from 1863 (I hope I have noticed correctly) were provided only with different clinker bricks. But that's what makes them look very pretty. Although the construction of the houses also contributed its part.
Was that a common architectural style at that time?
Addendum: It is in Raben Steinfeld a row of houses in English country house style from the 19th century, a grand ducal summer residence in the style of the neo-Renaissance. (Source: Tourismusverein Schweriner Seenland e.V.)

The landscape park was originally designed by court gardener Theodor Klett and belonged to a grand ducal estate. The English-style park on a steep bank above Lake Schwerin incorporates existing trees and opens up with picturesque views of the landscape and the village of Raben Steinfeld.

The park is picturesquely situated on a steep bank at the south-eastern end of Lake Schwerin. Historically, the park was laid out with wide views all the way to Schwerin with its cathedral and castle, the now tall trees still allow this view through dense foliage.

From 1849 a model estate of the Grand Dukes of Mecklenburg-Schwerin was established in Raben Steinfeld. A small grand-ducal castle (not open to the public) and a tea house have also been preserved. The Grand Ducal family often spent their summer holidays here. The peasant houses were built in the English style with ornate gables and nestled in the parkland.

Stud Warden Houses - very English

In connection with the expansion of the Raben Steinfelder Oberdorf into a princely summer residence, Grand Duke Friedrich Franz II ordered the construction of twelve houses along the Leezender Landstrasse in 1863 for the families of the support guards who were killed in the Grand Ducal horse breeding.
The Grand Duke had commissioned his tried and tested master builder H. Willebrand to design these houses, whose neo-Gothic design language is very reminiscent of the English country house style of the early 19th century.
Such an impression is reinforced by the use of brick in England and the execution of the exposed masonry in decorative bandages made of yellow and red bricks. (Source: sign at the houses)
