Międzylesie is a small border town on the Nysa Kłodzka River, a great base for exploring the Bystrzyckie Mountains and the Śnieżnik Massif. You can reach it by train on the Wrocław-Praga line, and you'll find an extended market square with historic buildings, a castle with the "Black Tower," and churches worth a short stroll. Gravel riders will appreciate the numerous forest roads and gravel byways on gentle plateaus, with quick access to mountain passes and border roads. Watch out for traffic on the DK33 when leaving town, and bring plenty of water—long stretches without shops can be challenging.
