Fishing was Dieter's passion.
He kept his catch in his mother's washtub.
Later, the laundry room served as the first makeshift “fish shop”.
Until then, fish was just a hobby.
Because Dieter had a well-paid and secure job as an industrial and commercial clerk. He was also married young and had just become a father.
