The Forest Centre is now undergoing a £4.5million re-development. This will include a brand new car park increasing capacity to over 500 spaces and the installation of a new exit road which will help remove car traffic from the main visitor area.

There will also be a brand new café developed in an idyllic setting overlooking the Chilterns, increasing the space available for visitors to enjoy a drink and something to eat whilst taking in the fabulous views.

A new information point will also be developed as part of the project to provide visitors with help from the team of Rangers at Wendover Woods.

You're technically not supposed to ride through the visitor place and café area but it is perfectly safe to do so if you go at a respectable pace. A good place to stop and refuel if you're on a longer ride. .
