Apart from the Segla, the Hesten offers a wonderful view over the Mefjord in the west and the mountain Inste Kongen and the valley Korkedalen in the north.
The trail is very popular and can be expected to be busy regardless of the season. The summit of the Hesten is not for people with a fear of heights. But even from a little further below the summit you still have a great view of Segla and the surrounding mountains.
