The "Géronstère" spring is the most famous mineral water spring in the countryside around Spa. Even Tsar Peter the Great went to the spring because he believed the water would heal his fever attacks.

The reputation of the city of Spa has been made thanks to its water sources with medicinal properties. La Géronstère is one of the famous springs in the region. Its waters are ferruginous, coming from the Fagne de Malchamps massif. Here, in the middle of the forest, there is also an inn-restaurant.
