Tips
Once you have descended from the highlands via the Laufbach valley and reduced your speed, you should take the time to stop here or there to enjoy the nature and the view. Lauf with the ruins of Neuwindeck is directly in front of us, and the Rhine plain opens up a little further away. If the visibility is good, you can make out the silhouette of Strasbourg Cathedral on the horizon.
