Tips
When you have descended from the highlands via the Laufbach valley and reduced your speed, you should take the time to take a break here or there and enjoy the nature and the view. Lauf with the ruins of Neuwindeck is directly in front of us, and the Rhine plain opens up a little further away. If the visibility is good, you can make out the silhouette of Strasbourg Cathedral on the horizon.
