Bad Leonfelden still has a beautiful old market place which (unfortunately only) is partially free of cars. The Kastner Lebzelterei and Konditorei is famous and very popular. Certainly worth a visit.

We would recommend the Ritter bakery and Lebzelterei even more! Coming from Linz, this is at the beginning of the market square, just before it widens, on the left-hand side. A little less conspicuous and certainly smaller than the Kastner, but in our opinion with the better gingerbread and biscuits, as it is more original and tastes less sugar. Feel free to try it as an alternative!
