The house, idyllically located on the banks of Lake Obersee, was designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe in 1932 for the printer Karl Lemke and his wife. In the years 2000 to 2002, a monument-appropriate repair was carried out. The garden was also restored according to a historical plan.
