Norra Sytertoppen towers to 1,768 meters (5,800 ft) and is the Västerbotten region's highest peak. The hike up from the Syter cabin is particularly challenging in its upper reaches, with difficult rocky terrain to overcome. In winter conditions, it's a full on mountaineering proposition.
