Bike Touring Highlight (Segment)
Double-decker bridge between Stuttgart-Kaltental and Stuttgart-Vaihingen, great view.
March 21, 2015
The bridge was completed in 1999 and is 150m long. On the lower floor, the "North-South Road" serves as a bypass between B14 and Stgt Möhringen. Right next to the bridge you can see the Nesenbachtal Viaduct, which was built in 1877 in its first form. In the 80s it was rebuilt as a four-track railway bridge.

Funny departure to the bridge and great views from the bridge

Nice that a car bridge is also used as a bike bridge. If one sees too rarely in this type.

Unique structure, unfortunately there is no such thing more often: an extra level for cyclists.

An architecturally successful bridge. The cyclists ride on the roof, the cars just below

That should make school. Bicycle levels should also get a lot more car bridges.

Here you can avoid the traffic around the Schillerplatz.

Cool idea. That should be the case with many more bridges.
