Pico dos Quatro is a challenging and steep 1.6-kilometer trail in the Tijuca Forest, starting from Estrada do Sorimã in Barra da Tijuca. Steep climbs over rocks and roots through dense Atlantic rainforest lead to the Garganta do Céu (Throat of Heaven) with views of Pedra da Gávea and the beaches of the South Zone. It requires excellent physical fitness and an experienced guide.
