The flood retention basin Götzenbach, also called Götzenbachsee, serves the flood protection in the valley of the Götzenbach, a tributary of the Lein, west of Göggingen in Schwäbisch Gmünd in Ostalbkreis in Baden-Württemberg. It is operated by the water association Kocher-Lein. In the permanent storage it has a storage area of 3.4 ha, which can increase in case of flood to 45 ha. The dam has a height of 23 m.
