The Große Scheuter (Great Barn) is the largest and most famous of the Rosenstein caves. It is 44 meters long and up to 7 meters high. It has three large openings that illuminate the entire cave. A flashlight is therefore not necessary for this cave. The hiking trail from Lautern up to the Rosenstein runs right through the cave.
