You have an ingenious view of Lake Constance from the church tower in Heiden. Dunant Square was named after the visionary Henry Dunant, who lived in Heiden from 1887 to 1910. He was a Nobel Peace Prize laureate and founder of the Red Cross. The world's only museum is here in Heiden and you can learn more about Dunant's work and his ideas for human rights, peace, democracy, international law and the international court of law.
