Middle of three turbine houses. The top one was where the Bäretswil wastewater treatment plant is now. Since there was no space for a factory in the Tobel, the energy had to be transmitted mechanically via wire ropes.

The factory, which was supplied with water energy, stood high above the valley and was supposed to be supplied from here. In Neuthal (towards Bauma), the concept can still be admired in operation on some days of the week.
