The industrialist Adolf Guyer-Zeller had a network of 25 km of hiking trails created in 1889-1899, connecting the Neuthal with Bauma, Wila and Pfäffikon. Large terrain obstacles were overcome in order to open up the journey of a previously untouched nature as a recreational landscape. The paths lead through pathless terrain, through Tobel and past steep walls of rushing brooks.
Highly recommended, varied, exciting hike. And on the way various nice rest areas with fire pit and grill.
