On an old Roman road always along the sea: view and history in the most wonderful united. At the end of the route you can hop into the sea in Alassio. The route can be easily one-way and return by bus or train to the starting point. Tickets are available at the machine in the station or in the Tabacchiera (bus).

The Via Julia Augusta was a Roman road that led from Vada Sabatia along the Ligurian coast via Albigaunum, Albintimilium and the Maritime Alps to the west to Arelate in the province of Gallia Narbonensis. Emperor Augustus left the road around 13 BC. Build.
