Afon Cefni is one of the major rivers on the island of Anglesey, Wales. It is 16.9 kilometres long. Its source is near to the village of Capel Coch, before flowing through Bodffordd and into Llyn Cefni in the centre of the island. It continues to run south through the county town of Llangefni

Komoot suggests that road bikes may not be suitable, you might have to stop and push across the road but it's fine and legal under your wheels.

Brilliant trail linking Llangefni and Malltraeth although the off road trail finishes about 2 miles from Malltraeth with a quiet flat country lane. The trail is the Lon Las Cefni cycle way which runs alongside the Afon Cefni. Along its length are drained marshes where the RSPB bird reserve (Cors Ddyga) can be found. Numerous bird species can be seen regularly at this location so it is worth stopping and having a break on the wooden benches situated at locations along the route.
