The mossy cave offers a spectacle of icicles, especially in the cold season. When there is no frost, you can enjoy this scenic overhang that is covered in different species of moss. Due to its shady place, it is able to thrive even in an otherwise sunny and hot environment.

Mossy Cave is a cliff overhang hosting a variety of different moss species within. Hikers are not permitted to enter the cave, but there is a small viewing platform with information boards nearby. A unique feature of this cave is that since it is so sheltered from the sun, you can find icicles inside even during the summer months.

Mossy Cave is only a few meters off the standard route to the waterfall, but in summer it was still not worth the short detour for me.
