The Gehrenbach reservoir is a reservoir in Schwerte. The lake, which was built in 1977 in the east of the city of Schwerte, is a rainwater retention basin with a pool volume of 91,500m3. About 35,000m3 of this basin capacity is created as a permanent backlog. Named Gehrenbach, a left tributary of the Ruhr, is dammed up.
