Fairview Trailhead sits along Arkansas’s Highway 7 scenic byway, with direct access to the Ozark Highlands Trail. There is a small parking area, and though the campground has been decommissioned, there are still nice primitive campsites, a spigot with running water, a picnic table and a pit toilet, perfect for a quiet spot to stage or rest. Surrounded by a hardwood forest, this is a beautiful spot known for its colorful spring blooms and fall colors, and is a lovely entry point into the Ozark National Forest.
