    Hurricane Creek Wilderness spans over 15,000 acres in the Ozark National Forest, with steep plateaus, tall bluffs, and beautiful blue-green waters that define its landscape. The Ozark Highlands Trail cuts through the heart of this area for some of the best remote hiking in the state, with creek crossings, old homesteads, and dense oak-hickory forests. With 15.5 miles of designated Wild and Scenic River, it’s a haven to immerse yourself in picturesque backcountry scenery.
