This section was characterized by its very bumpy and broken terrain, demanding maximum concentration in handling the bike. Crossing the picturesque villages of San Román de Besuyo and Iriondo de Besuyo, the effort was worth it upon reaching Besuyo. This town is not only beautiful but also steeped in history: besides being the land of traditional blacksmiths linked to the culture of iron and its hammers, it is the birthplace of the famous playwright Alejandro Casona.
