In our case, as cyclists who enjoy our trips, Cangas del Narcea is a very good place to set up a base of operations and take advantage of visiting the wildest territory of the Asturian mountains. Cangas del Narcea has all kinds of services: restaurants, shops, a bicycle shop for unforeseen events, a hospital, etc.
The best time of year is usually from July to September, although rain and weather are variable.

Cangas del Narcea neighborhood, located above the Ambasaguas neighborhood, from where you have the most beautiful views of the town, perfectly visualizing the Basilica, the suspension bridge, the Prao del Molín, the Roman bridge, and the Carmen Chapel.
