This beautiful and promising, around 14 kilometer long circuit in the lower Middle Rhine and Brohlbachtal was named after the "Himmelsleiter", a steep path from the Brohl valley up to the Lützinger Höhe. The route profile includes rocky climbs, rustic forest paths and high-altitude trails with magnificent views of the Rhine Valley, the Vinxtbach Valley and far into the Westerwald and the Siebengebirge.

      great tour
The name Himmelsleiter is correct in the truest sense.
It's steep, on rugged rock (at times alpine) closer to the sky.
      Surefootedness required.
