La Plagette is one of the best places in Cap d'Agde to observe the deposits of Agde volcanism. Outcrops of grey tuff and yellow tuff reveal the different layers left by volcanic projections. They originate from explosive eruptions that occurred just over a million years ago. A stop that allows you to read the geological history of the site directly in the rock.
