Sculpture by Zandbergen artist Antoon Torrekens, unveiled in September 2001 on the occasion of the official opening of the social housing complex built here at Brouwershof, on the site where the unparalleled Concordia beer was once brewed in copper brewing kettles.
The Concordia Brewery was active from 1923 to 1983. Hell's Pils and Bock were also brewed there. The brewery was demolished in 1994.
