The Schmausemühle has been family-owned for 380 years.
Parts of the property date from around 1630.
The Schmausemühle - once a flour mill - stopped grinding in 1926.
Even back then, the Baybachtal was a gem for nature lovers and hikers. They were happy to stop by the Müllersleuten Pies for scrambled eggs with bacon and a glass of wine.
