Hiking
On Tweed Green near the town museum stands a memorial to the Scots who fell at Flodden. This was erected in 2007 by the local Flodden 1513 Club. It was officially unveiled by James Pringle of Torwoodlee, Galashiels, whose ancestors sent soldiers to battle and is a direct descendant of Abbess Hopringle of Coldstream Priory. The memorial overlooks Coldstream Ford, is located on the edge of Coldstream Priory, and points directly towards Branxton Moor.
