A bike tour in summer is always possible. So get on your bike and cycle south along the Rhine! To the "Cologne Riviera" - or also: to the sandy shore section in Cologne-Rodenkirchen called Heinrich-Lübke-Ufer, where you can bury your toes in the sand. Alternatively, line 16 also goes there. Unfortunately, swimming is not allowed. Afterwards, it's worth making a detour for a drink on the Alte Liebe, a houseboat converted into a restaurant right next door.
