Super nice section of route. Absolutely recommended and easily doable with a racing bike. We drove from southwest to east as suggested in previous comments. However, the climb to Rabenkogel from the south west has been re-tarred. That's why I would now do the round the other way around, i.e. from Markstein to the Rabenkogel. Then you have the newly tarred mountain down.

Coming from the east, however, the descent is a bit slower due to the fact that the asphalt is quite cracked in the southwest. Maybe the other way around makes more sense? Then you have the gravel parts on the descent, but from shortly before Pernegg you can really let it go.
