    The square and the church of San Michele: opposite, among the war memorials, is a memorial to Giovanni Roncalli, the future Pope John XXIII, who served here as a sergeant between 1901 and 1902.
    The previous church of San Michele Arcangelo dates back to the first half of the 15th century (1440). The building was consecrated on June 15, 1600. The current church, dedicated to San Michele Arcangelo, was built between 1953 and 1954 based on a design by the architect Candiani of Treviso.
    The work was carried out on the site of the previous parish church, dating back to the 15th century, from which some of the furnishings were recovered, including the high altar (1689), baptismal font (1543), holy water stoup (Pilacorte school), and balustrades.
