In the 19th century, gondolas were still rented out at Kleinhesseloher See, and in winter it was used for ice skating.
The lake house was built in 1837.
A small wooden house.
The current building was erected in 1935 under Ernst Hürlimann.
The Kuffler family took over the business here and is still responsible for the restaurant and business today.
The gondolas became pedal boats, but you can still ice skate in winter.
