Mountain biking
One of the most beautiful, richest, and best-maintained parks in Lithuania. It was established in the territory of the sacred Birutė forest and was called Birutė Park by local residents for a long time. The author of the park plan project is the famous French architect Edouard François André (1840–1911), who, together with his son René Edouard André (1867–1942), spent several summers in Palanga and supervised the park’s establishment. They were assisted by the park gardener Buyssen de Coulon, who arrived from Belgium.
